A Planet Fitness patron in North Carolina was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after the biological male entered the women’s locker room and stripped down “completely naked.”

Christopher Miller, 38, was arrested at the Gastonia Planet Fitness on South New Hope Road last week, after his behavior prompted one woman to call 911.

“And what’s he wearing?” the dispatcher said, according to WSOC-TV.

“Nothing, literally nothing,” the caller said.

“Ok, so he is completely naked?” the dispatcher asked.

“He is completely naked,” the caller confirmed.

“And is that man still there?” the dispatcher questioned.

“Yeah, he is still in the bathroom,” the caller said. “It’s a man but he says he identifies as a woman, and he won’t leave the restroom. But he is just walking around showing us his **** and he won’t leave.”

Planet Fitness’s Non-Discrimination Policy allows biological men to use women’s facilities by simply self-reporting their gender identity.

“Planet Fitness does not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any person on its premises on the basis of race, national origin, ancestry, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, disability, or any other basis protected by law,” the policy states. “All members, including transgender members, may use Planet Fitness locker room facilities, bathrooms, showers, and all other facilities/programs separated by sex based on their self-reported gender identity.”

One member of the club, Betty Brice, believes men shouldn’t be allowed in women’s facilities.

“I think a woman should be able to go into a women’s bathroom without a man coming in saying he’s transgender,” Brice said according to The New York Post.

Calls for members to cancel their Planet Fitness membership began after a female member reported encountering a male grooming himself in the women’s locker room in Fairbanks, Alaska.

“I just came out of Planet Fitness, and there is a man shaving in the women’s bathroom,” Patricia Silva said in a video posted on Facebook.

After the post, Planet Fitness revoked Silva’s membership for violating company policies.

“Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity,” Planet Fitness’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer McCall Gosselin said in a statement. “The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated.”

Silva claims a simple solution would be to create a third space for transgender and non-binary individuals to use, separate from female and male facilities.

“They have created this unsafe space for women,” Silvia said, according to Fox 10. “We have to fight like hell for our women’s rights.”

Planet Fitness stock plummeted after March 14, when the social media account Libs of Tik Tok posted about the story.

Planet Fitness founder and former CEO Mike Grondahl even said the company has “been pretty much destroyed” in an interview with Libs of Tik Tok founder Chaya Raichik.

“Planet Fitness was like another child to me,” Grondahl said in the interview. “And I put my heart and soul into building the company and it’s been pretty much destroyed in, you know – it’s lost all respect within the country within the last couple weeks. There’s no common sense standing behind this.”

Grondahl said “widespread abuse” is now the “culture” of Planet Fitness.

Miller’s bond has been set for $25,000.
