Christian Schools are filling up as enrollment season opens – Christian schools across the country are enrolling students for the 2023-24 school year, building on historic gains in student numbers over the last several years. For some schools, the enrollment increases created opportunities for facility and curricula expansions. Christian school in Nebraska opens $7.1 million center – Lincoln Christian School in Nebraska has experienced a 35% enrollment increase in the last 5 years which led the school to embark on a $7.1 building project. The new Scheels Center opened last week, and the school. “We are looking forward to gathering as a school family and giving God the glory for who He is and the amazing ways He has and continues to provide at Lincoln Christian School!” said Superintendent Zach Kassebaum. Christian school in Kansas is adding an elementary school – Risen Savior Academy in Kansas is building a new 5,500 square-foot wing to expand its offerings from pre-K to K-3rd grade. The school hopes to add another wing for 4-8th grade by 2025. “We’re excited to serve the community with that Christian education for the students and to be a place where families can come,” said Pastor Caleb Free. New K-12 Christian school opens in North Carolina – Homestead Christian School in North Carolina opened enrollment for its first school year. Homestead, which is registered with the North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education and the National Center for Life and Liberty, will serve students from K-12. Read more here.  

Christian school cooks for charity – Atlantic Christian School in New Jersey is hosting a charitable Bowls of Hope Soup Cook-Off for the 10th year. Proceeds will be split between the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and the school, and any donated soup will be given to Community FoodBank. Read more here.
