An Oregon college administrator has been placed on leave after public outrage over his admonishment to Trump voters to kill themselves.

Leonard Serrato is the assistant director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at the University of Oregon (UO). His profanity-ridden reaction to President-elect Donald Trump’s Tuesday victory was posted by various sources on Thursday.

“I’m done crying. My sadness is over. My anger has set in,” Serrato said. “I am a very petty person, and I am very proud of that. Love it about myself actually. And so, I say this in the most disrespectful way possible.

“I don’t care if you are my family. I don’t care if you’re my friend. I don’t care if we’ve been friends our entire lives,” his diatribe continued. “You can literally go f*** yourself if you voted for Donald Trump. If you are so sad about your groceries being expensive, get a better f***ing paying job. Do better in life. Get a f***ing education.

“Do something because you are f***ing stupid and I hope you go jump off of a f***ing bridge.”

According to UO’s website, the goal of Fraternity and Sorority Life is “the development of leadership, scholarship, brotherhood and sisterhood, service, and community.”

Serrato is being widely criticized for his divisive comments.

“It’s disgusting, but not surprising, that an employee at a state University would speak this way about MORE THAN HALF of the country,” commented Donald Trump Jr.

“This man is in charge of college students???” said another social media user.

Serrato’s LinkedIn bio reveals he is a long-time college administrator and freelance speaker for “Hazing Prevention Education.”

According to one anti-hazing group, hazing is “any activity expected of someone joining or participating in a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses, or endangers them.”

The university placed the employee on paid leave Thursday, according to local media.

“The statements made in the video are abhorrent and not in alignment with our values or mission,” said the UO. “We opened an investigation and are reviewing the matter under university policies and the individual’s role as a public employee.”
