Answers Academy, a K-12 Christian school in Erlanger, Kentucky, held a ribbon cutting and dedication this month to celebrate an expansion that nearly doubles the school’s capacity.
In its new facility, Answers can accommodate up to 500 students, with two classrooms for each grade level. The renovated space offers expanded classrooms, a science lab, library, computer lab, music room and art room. The school has future plans to expand its fine arts program to include choir and band, as well.
At the Jan. 3 dedication ceremony, students and families heard remarks from the school’s founder, Renee Hodge, reaffirming the academy’s commitment to high academic and behavioral standards.
“(We continue to) stand firm on the authority of God’s Word in all areas as we build and shape students’ worldview with the Bible as the foundation,” said Hodge. “It’s really training the students to think, ‘What does the Bible say about that?’
“And the Bible says a lot about history, language, art, music, science, astronomy, biology, zoology, gender, abortion, CRT, racism – and every area of life.”
Answers Academy, which describes itself as “an outreach of Answers in Genesis,” will host two open houses for interested families to tour the new facility in late January and February. Students and families can attend these events by reserving a spot at AnswersAcademy.org/open-house.
Families with students enrolled in Answers Academy receive a one-year pass to the nearby Bible-based Creation Museum and Ark Encounter,
The school renovations were made possible in part by a grant from The Herzog Foundation, which publishes The Lion.
