In what appears to be footage from the cellphone of the officer who shot and killed a woman who drove into him while she was allegedly obstructing federal immigration agents, the woman and her wife are heard taunting officers before the wife yells, “Drive, baby, drive.”
This is the moment Renee Nicole Good, 37, appears to accelerate into the officer, who fires shots at Good, killing her.
The video also contains about 40 seconds of what takes place before the shooting.
In it, the officer circles the vehicle counter-clockwise in what appears to be an attempt to record the two women and perhaps the license plate. Good’s wife, Rebecca, standing outside the passenger side of the vehicle and recording, is heard taunting the officer before and while he rounds the car. The officer ends up near the front passenger side of the vehicle.
At this point another officer gives a command for Renee to get out of the car, and the officer taking the video moves across the front of the vehicle. When he is near the front driver’s side, Rebecca can be heard yelling to her wife, “Drive, baby, drive.”
At this moment, the car lurches forward and appears to strike the officer with some force. He can be heard saying, “Whoa,” followed by the sound of at least two quick gun shots.
