Antisemitic flyers with Nazi themes, including a swastika, were found at Shalom Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The posters were discovered Tuesday morning outside a Jewish school at the children’s park and were removed from the property before school began, according to the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte.

A photo posted on social media by Combat Antisemitism Movement allegedly shows the flyer, which depicts a noose hanging from a swastika, with the message: “Whether you swing to the left or swing to the right, we will simply swing you by the neck.”

Surrounding the park is a 54-acre campus “that is home to a Jewish Community Center, Jewish Federation, community foundation, two synagogues, a preschool, a school, a library, and a day camp, among other Jewish services,” according to Jewish Insider.

“This is not something we haven’t seen before. This is not something that’s going to make us afraid, and we’re not going to hide in our homes. This is only going to make us stronger,” declared Yael Goldshmid, a mother of children attending the school.

Leaders in the surrounding area condemned the attack.

“It’s deeply disturbing to see hateful imagery like this in Charlotte. Antisemitism is unacceptable and has no place in North Carolina or anywhere in America. I stand with our Jewish neighbors in condemning this hatred wherever it appears,” Sen. Tom Tillis, R-North Carolina, posted on X.

“These ugly, hate-filled images left in Charlotte’s Shalom Park are unacceptable. My heart goes out to the Jewish North Carolinians who had to bear witness to this hateful ignorance,” Gov. Josh Stein told Jewish Insider.

Local authorities and law enforcement are investigating the incident to ensure the safety of the community and students.
