The Oklahoma State Department of Education is partnering with the conservative educational organization PragerU to offer resources to public school students.

“I am thrilled to announce this partnership with PragerU,” State Superintendent Ryan Walters announced on Tuesday, according to KOCO News. “This expansion of our available resources will help ensure high quality materials rich in American history and values will be available to our teachers and students.

“We will work together to find ways for PragerU to create content that will enrich the education of Oklahoma students.”

PragerU is part of the Prager University Foundation, a non-profit media company established in 2009 to promote “American values through the creative use of educational videos,” according to its official website.

At PragerU’s  kids page, short informational videos on a variety of topics are available, such as historical American figures, offices within the U.S. government, and even a video for teens on how to handle getting pulled over by law enforcement.

Oklahoma is not the only state to partner with Prager. In June, Florida become the first state to official partner with PragerU.

PragerU CEO Marissa Streit believes the availability of its content in the classroom offers more perspectives and a balance when compared to the liberal curricula that supports “leftism.”

“Parents have felt that they have been really pushed out of the education of their children,” Streit said, according to KOCO News. “America’s classrooms have been more focused on producing young activists than actually kids who excel academically or are able to think critically. We’re providing teachers with additional tools, so they don’t have to only teach leftism in schools.”
