Candidates who support parental rights and oppose Critical Race Theory won big in neighboring Indiana school board races, according to a report by Indianapolis PBS affiliate WFYI.

Winning candidates in Hamilton County Southeastern and Westfield Washington districts were promoted by a local chapter of Moms for Liberty, a conservative educational advocacy group.

In Hamilton County Southeastern, Tiffany Pascoe, Juanita Albright, Dawn Lang and Ben Orr won the four open seats. The conservative candidates built their platforms on parental rights and opposition to student indoctrination.

The Westfield Washington election saw conservatives win each of the three open seats by more than 50% – Amber Huff Willis, William Anderson, and Rebecca Ogle.

Similarly conservative candidates also won seats in other Hamilton County school districts, including Greg Brown (Carmel Clay school board) and Misty Ray (Noblesville school board).

The results are unofficial until certified by the county, which must do so by Nov. 21.
