Survivors of Texas flood sing hymns while crossing Guadalupe River

A bus full of survivors of the Texas flooding that claimed the lives of 27 Camp Mystic campers and counselors sang praise songs as it crossed the Guadalupe River.

Fighting back tears, the female campers sang “Lord, Prepare Me to Be a Sanctuary,” “Amazing Grace” and other hymns as their bus passed through the damaged area.

The death toll from the flooding has risen to 82, with dozens of people still missing. More rain is in the forecast.
