A Texas high school teacher has been placed on administrative leave after widely distributed photos and a video revealed his habit of dressing in women’s clothing at school.
In one photo the teacher is wearing a colorful tutu paired with leggings and long pink socks; in another he’s wearing a hot pink dress.
“This is an actual teacher in @Hebron_HS in @LewisvilleISD,” Libs of TikTok, the account that shared the photos and video, wrote on X. “I wish this was a joke. He reportedly shows up dressed in drag sometimes and has a fetish for wearing women’s clothing.”
Hours after the post went viral, Hebron High School principal Amy Boughton informed the community the male teacher was placed on administrative leave.
“It is important to me to keep you informed about situations involving our campus, even if your student is not directly impacted,” Boughton wrote. “You may have seen a video circulating on social media expressing concerns with the way a staff member was dressed at school yesterday.
“We are aware of the video, and the staff member has been placed on administrative leave while the district reviews the situation, which is standard procedure. It would be natural for our families to have questions about this situation, but because this is a personnel matter currently under review, there is no additional information the district can share.”
It comes soon after an unidentified substitute teacher at the same school was caught taking photos of a female student’s backside using his iPad in the classroom.
“Today we were informed about a concerning incident involving a substitute teacher, who took photos of a student’s bottom as she was presenting reports during class,” Boughton wrote. “We immediately investigated the situation, and I want to assure you the substitute will not return to campus. His actions are completely unacceptable.”
