Turning Point USA will host The All American Halftime show Feb. 8 during the NFL Super Bowl, TPUSA announced Thursday in a post on X.

“This is all a testament to Charlie’s legacy,” Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, said on the program Thursday.

“Nothing like this would have been possible without this outpouring of energy, and people want to get involved. They want to see the culture change. And I think this is a great way to do it.”

The show will celebrate “faith, family and freedom,” with a mix of Christian, country and pop artists Americans choose, Kolvett said. Fans can recommend artists and bands at AmericanHalfTimeShow.com

Kolvet discussed the Nation Football League’s recent announcement of Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl halftime artist.

Bad Bunny, who is known for demonic attire, trans-dressing and fake prosthetics in his music videos, told Americans they have “four months to learn” Spanish on Saturday Night Live Oct. 4.

“I think the only surprise that we’re going to get is not that Americans learn how to speak Spanish in four months, like he asked them to do on Saturday Night Live, but if he speaks English, that would be the surprise of the show,” guest Danica Patrick, host of the Pretty Intense podcast, said. “I just don’t think it represents our country as our crown jewel event of the year.”

Patrick said the halftime show is a new option because Americans are more tired of the NFL’s degrading content with each passing year.

“Sometimes you don’t try and fix what’s there,” Patrick said. “You start something new completely.”

Kolvet said the Super Bowl halftime artist is an annual representation of what woke ideology is being forced on Americans. He said Kirk used to call the event “the epicenter of culture.” But the selection of Bad Bunny is “tone deaf” to the 2024 presidential election and the positive approval of President Donald Trump, Kolvet said.

Bad Bunny has “a lot of disregard and contempt for our country,” and will “turn a lot of people off,” Kolvet said, adding the NFL has lost touch with its fan base and now fans are holding the league accountable.

“We’re saying there is a line. When you hire a guy to do the job that hates our country, seemingly, and hates the government and hates the rule of law that the American people just voted for, there might be some consequences that you don’t like so much.”

TPUSA’s halftime show option is a weapon against the NFL to show the league what its fanbase values, Kolvet opined.

“We now have a cudgel to use against them if they’re going to continue to keep contempt against the people that pay their bills and that go to their games and buy the ticket.”

Tyler Bowyer, COO of Turning Point Action, who joined Kolvet and Patrick on the show, said the option for another halftime show is an “important cultural moment for America.”

“We have a huge opportunity in front of us now with this event to execute it in a way that might change how America views these big events in the future, because this has never really been attempted before,” Bowyer said.

“America using the ability to press the off button and to use their wallet to make decisions is really critical.”
