(Daily Caller News Foundation) – A Washington school district allegedly gave elementary school kids a sexual education lesson that pushed puberty blockers and introduced students to preferred pronouns, according to KTTH News.

Fourth and fifth graders at Lincoln Elementary in the Olympia School District were allegedly given a sexual education lesson on May 9 created by Planned Parenthood which displayed pubic hair in the shape of animals and taught students about the “gender wheel,” according to a report by KTTH News. Parents told the outlet that their students were taught that SUPPRELIN LA, a hormone blocker, can “be helpful during puberty.”

“Our primary concern for our kids is the fact that the school district presented the information as being very neutral and quite honestly basic pubescent/anatomy driven,” a Lincoln Elementary father told KTTH. “Then when we became privy to the actual content of the presentation (after the fact and at our own discovery, not the school’s disclosure) it was completely different.”

The lesson allegedly discussed preferred pronouns with students including “they” and “ze,” noting that some students have “more pronouns to share because everyone belongs,” KTTH reported. Students were allegedly given a lesson on the “gender wheel” which included several different “identities,” such as “transgender, intersex, drag king, trans femme, agender person, girlish boy, boi grrl and nonbinary person.”

Lesson materials allegedly included images of vaginas with pubic hair shaped to be a cat and a heart, KTTH reported.

A Wisconsin school district approved a curriculum that asks educators of sixth graders to refer to females as “a person with a vulva.”

“I want to make you aware that materials that are not part of the school district’s approved sexual health curriculum were distributed on May 9th in class,” the Washington elementary school allegedly told parents, according to KTTH. “We are investigating the matter and working with staff to get more information to determine next steps. If you have any questions, please reach out to me.”

In 2021, Oregon enacted “The Menstrual Dignity Act” which requires public schools to provide all students, regardless of “gender, age, ability [and] socioeconomic status” with menstrual products. An Oregon high school asked boys to stop putting tampon product dispensers in the toilet after stocking the bathrooms with free menstrual products.

Olympia School District did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
