The city has faced days of riots by protesters upset by Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s efforts to roundup and deport criminal illegal migrants.
President Donald Trump has ordered the National Guard and a Marine unit to the city.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass, both Democrats, have criticized Trump’s move and threatened a lawsuit.
