When Virginia school teacher Dennita Miskimen quit her 23-year career to start a one-room school house, people thought she was crazy.

But four years later The Little Red Schoolhouse is thriving, offering education that is integrated with serving on a working farm.

“I promised God this school would be used for His kingdom, where children learn to love Jesus, love their country and childhood is protected.

“Here, children learn work ethic, discipline and entrepreneurship,” says Miskimen, who helps others start similar schools.
