Watch: Dog appears to lead police to missing 3-year-old boy

When a 3-year-old boy went missing in Louisville, Kentucky, last month, police searched everywhere and even called in a helicopter but couldn’t find him.

Then a dog appeared, jumping and barking until police followed him into a backyard, where the boy was found locked inside a vehicle.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a happier kid in my life,” said Officer Josh Thompson, who added that he’d never seen the dog before or since in the two years he’s patrolled the neighborhood.

“I don’t know where that dog came from, but it was a blessing from God that day,” he said.
