Following the hubbub over Sydney Sweeney having great genes/jeans ad, coffee and donut company Dunkin’ has released a new spot featuring an attractive white actor and model. 

Gavin Casalegno, an outspoken Christian who stars in The Summer I Turned Pretty, appears in the 30-second spot sipping a Dunkin’ beverage beside a pool. 

“Look, I didn’t ask to be the king of summer, it just kinda happened,” he says. “This tan? Genetics.  

“I just got my color analysis back. Guess what? Golden summer. Literally,” he adds. 

The ads have drawn controversy because they feature attractive white people, in contrast to a recent DEI push to feature minorities almost exclusively in advertising.
