Watch: Elderly woman berated at Target for her Charlie Kirk shirt doesn’t wish ill on woke attacker

An elderly Target employee who was harassed by a customer for wearing a Freedom shirt honoring Charlie Kirk doesn’t wish retribution on the woman, who is already facing consequences.

“Two wrongs don’t make a right,” Jeanie Beeman, the employee, told a reporter in Chico, California, Thursday about the viral Monday incident.

“I’ve always told my girls since they were growing up, me wanting her to lose her job or go to jail or anything, that’s not right,” she added. “To my point of view, it’s not humanly right.”

The perpetrator, Michelea Ponce, has received significant backlash, including floods of phone calls to the health center where she works. She has since apologized for berating Beeman, who kept her cool during the entire incident.

Supporters have raised more than $250,000 in crowdfunding to give Beeman a vacation.
