Watch: High school teacher warns America after leaving the profession 

A former public high school teacher issued a blistering rant, warning Americans about a rising generation that is AI-dependent and incapable of doing basic tasks. 

“Now that I am no longer a teacher, I can finally say the things that have been on my mind all school year,” the woman says in a video posted online. “We should all be scared. Every last one of us should be scared.” 

She explained how many students struggled to write a five-sentence paragraph. 

She also faulted the school board and administration for passing students to keep graduation rates up. 

“These kids cannot read, they cannot write,” she says. “There is no type of comprehension skills, no type of critical thinking. They cannot do anything on their own … They expect everything to be given to them.”
