Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials arrested an illegal immigrant semi-truck driver in Oklahoma late last month who had a New York-issued commercial driver’s license listing his first name as “No Name Given.”

Speaking on Fox News on Saturday, ICE Director Todd Lyons said it was “really scary” to see IDs like that, especially since they carry a Real ID star.

“I don’t know about you all, but it was like going through a security clearance for me to get my Real ID,” Lyons said.

ICE has arrested at least 91 illegal immigrant truck drivers since a deadly crash in August in Florida involving a non-citizen driver. Lyons said the Department of Homeland Security is working to stop such IDs from being issued and to remove unlicensed or undocumented drivers from the road.

“I can’t believe that we’re giving illegal aliens who have no right to be here these driver’s licenses,” he said, blaming sanctuary cities and states. “And these are CDL licenses. These people are transporting hazardous goods and materials at times … Look how many American citizens have lost their lives because of individuals like that.”
