Watch: ‘I’d rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick’ than go on The View, Sen. Kennedy says

Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy didn’t mince words when asked if he would appear on the left-dominated talk show, The View.

“I will not be going on The View,” the Republican told Benny Johnson on The Benny Show earlier this month. “In fact, my version of hell is being required to watch reruns of The View for the rest of eternity.”

Johnson responded that he’d “like to start the petition right now” to get him on the show, adding it would “probably be their highest ratings ever,” but Kennedy wasn’t convinced.

“I’d rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick,” he said, confirming that he had “no interest in going on.”
