Iranians in New York and Los Angeles paraded in the streets Sunday to celebrate the reported elimination of the country’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Celebrants danced and waved Iranian and American flags, as well as Israeli flags, as they marched behind a banner that read, “Make Iran Great Again,” a play on President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan.
The Los Angeles rally featured a banner that read, “We stand with President Trump.” Iranian-Americans in other cities such as Kansas City and St. Louis also celebrated.
Video also surfaced from Iran of people performing Trump’s “YMCA” dance in celebration.
