Watch: Kristi Noem tells convicted child molester who entered the U.S. five times illegally he will be deported

While supervising ICE operations in Portland, Oregon, Kristi Noem interviewed a convicted sex offender after he had been arrested Tuesday.

“So you are an illegal immigrant, is that correct?” she asked in a video posted by journalist Nick Sortor. “And you’ve been deported before, is that correct?” to which the man responded “yes” both times. 

“So let me get this straight. You are an illegal immigrant. You’ve been deported five times. You are a convicted child molester. And you keep coming back here to work? 

“Well, let me tell you something. You are going to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And then you are going to be deported again. And this time, you are not coming back. Do you understand me?”
