Around 25 armed suspects stormed a Northern California jewelry store in broad daylight last week, making off with an estimated $1 million in merchandise.

The masked men used pickaxes and crowbars to smash cases and steal jewelry. They even shot their way out of the store after the doors automatically locked.

Getaway cars were waiting in the valet area of the City Center Bishop Ranch Mall, where the store is located.

San Ramon police apprehended seven of the suspects, along with two guns and some of the jewelry. They believe the invasion is related to similar crimes committed against other businesses.
