The former father-in-law of a woman killed in Minneapolis after she refused orders from ICE agents and struck one with her vehicle said he does not blame anyone for her death but offered a biblical warning during an interview Wednesday.
“I’m not blaming anybody,” Timmy Macklin, the father of Renee Nicole Good’s deceased husband, told CNN. “It’s a hard situation all the way around.
“I don’t have any enemies. I love everybody, and that’s what the Bible tells us – love our neighbors as we love ourselves. But I think there’s some bad choices, and the Word says the wrath of God will come upon the children of disobedience.”
Macklin said he does not blame Good, federal agents or the woman’s wife, Rebecca.
“But if we’re walking in the spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there,” he said. “That’s the way I look at it.”
