When Lamiyah Jabbar heard the financial struggles of her Uber passenger, Diane, she swung into action.

After dropping Diane off at work at a Tim Hortons restaurant in Buffalo, New York, Jabbar, 30, went to a nearby mall to find clothes for Diane.

Shoppers helped Jabbar find items that would fit Diane, and Jabbar surprised the woman a short while later with a bag of clothing and a gift card at the Tim Hortons drive-thru.

Social media commentator Dom Lucre posted the video on X to show a good deed done by Jabbar, who is black, for Diane, who is white. “That’s all I see on this platform now from both parties but only when the video makes either race look bad,” he said. “We can also show the good in both sides.”
