Op-ed: We’re here, we’re queer, and we make excuses for pedophilia

“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.”

That’s what radical LGBT activists chanted at a New York City Drag March on June 23.

The video stirred controversy, but leftist media didn’t bat an eyelid.

NBC immediately tried to make the conservative backlash seem like an overreaction by explaining that LGBT marchers have always used controversial – even violent – chants.

An unconventional strategy, to be sure.

Brian Griffin, original organizer of the NYC Drag March, told NBC he used to chant, “Kill, kill, kill, we’re coming to kill the mayor,” and make jokes about pubic hair and sex toys.

Last year, other marchers simply repeated, “Groom! Groom! Groom!”

“It’s all just words,” said Griffin. “It’s all presented to fulfill their worst stereotypes of us.”

But there’s no such thing as “just words.”

In a famous 2008 speech, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama said, “Don’t tell me words don’t matter.”

The idea was so important, Obama repeated it again: “Don’t tell me words don’t matter.”

Can you imagine what would happen if people marched down the street chanting, “We’re here, we’re straight, and we want LGBT youth to commit suicide,” and then claimed it was just words?

The media would be relentlessly outraged and make no qualms of vilifying and doxing every single marcher until their lives laid in ruin.

The Department of Justice would have an internal memo labeling the marchers “domestic terrorists” and the Biden administration might even send huge SWAT teams of FBI agents to arrest them at gunpoint in their homes.

But when radical LGBT activists say, “We’re coming for your children,” the media makes a milk and water excuse about how activists have been using such chants for years – as if that makes it less disturbing.

Even many members of the LGBT community have gotten fed up with the gender ideology, accusing activists of being “pedophiles and predators.”

Gays Against Groomers is an organization of “gay people who oppose the recent trend of indoctrinating, sexualizing and medicalizing children under the guise of ‘LGBTQIA+’.”

Oli London, a detransitioner, even called pride parades “naked fetish marches” that are “doing a disservice to their own community.”

NYC’s marchers may have intended to make an erudite social commentary and try to accuse conservatives of some phobia, such as “homophobia” or “transphobia.”

But when scantily clad people publicly celebrate the sexualization of everything, chanting, “We’re coming for your children,” who could blame parents for becoming afraid?

Afraid of children being sexualized, castrated and brainwashed into believing that love is love – unless someone disagrees with you, in which case you should scream in their face and threaten their safety with mob violence.

Yet, the political left is trapped in a never-ending spiral of excuses for the vitriol it perpetuates against conservatives and the violence it excuses against children.

Excuses for sadomasochistic men in burlesque costumes who shove their genitalia in girls’ faces.

Excuses for adult performers simulating sex acts in front of an audience full of children.

Excuses for hospitals mutilating perfectly healthy children and refashioning them into a grotesque parody of the opposite sex.

Excuses for school libraries filled with books so lewd most adults would blush.

Excuses for 5th grade sex ed lessons that instruct students how to perform oral and anal sex, as well as masturbate.

“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” isn’t just words.

It’s reality.
